3-Day Tarangire & Ngorongoro Safari
Discover Tarangire woodland and baobab country, followed by a morning in Ngorongoro Crater. An arrival night in Arusha gives you time to settle in before the safari begins. This compact journey visits two wildlife areas without travelling farther north.

01Arrival in Tanzania
Meet your Boker Adventures representative at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) and transfer to your Arusha hotel. Rest after the flight; no game drive is scheduled. Your briefing covers timings, meals, wildlife etiquette, medical or mobility needs and booked extras. Late arrivals receive the briefing the next morning. Allow about 1-1.5 hours for the transfer, depending on the hotel and traffic. Arrange late dinner in advance. Overnight: Arusha. Meal included: dinner.
02Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park. Explore woodland, river habitats and open areas with your guide, pausing for wildlife and a picnic lunch. Look for elephants, giraffes, antelope and birds without a fixed sightings checklist. Leave in time to travel to Karatu and settle into your lodge before dinner. Arusha to Tarangire gate: approximately 2-3 hours. Park exit to Karatu: approximately 1.5-2.5 hours, in addition to viewing, gate formalities and stops. Overnight: Karatu. Meals: breakfast, lunch and dinner.
03Ngorongoro Crater and return to Arusha
Leave Karatu early with breakfast or a breakfast box. After entry formalities, descend into Ngorongoro Crater for a morning game drive and picnic lunch. Explore the accessible habitats within the permitted session; rhino and predator sightings are never guaranteed. Ascend around midday or early afternoon as agreed with your guide, then return to Arusha and finish at your chosen hotel. Allow about 1.5-2 hours from Karatu to the crater access area, then the game-drive session. The return from the crater area to Arusha can take approximately 4-5 hours, including ordinary gate procedures but excluding long stops. Expect a long day and potentially an evening arrival. Meals: breakfast and lunch. No third hotel night, dinner or onward airport transfer is included. Driving times are estimates, not guarantees.

Vehicle safari or gentle activity
- Arrive in the departure town before the meeting time. Ask us to arrange airport transfers or an extra hotel night.
- Tell us about access, dietary and room requirements before the group plan is confirmed.
- The dated group quote confirms transport, services, rooms, fees and cancellation terms.
Programme services
- Two accommodation nights: Arusha on Day 1 and Karatu on Day 2.
- JRO arrival transfer, private safari 4x4 with English-speaking driver-guide for the stated daytime route, and Day 3 Arusha hotel drop-off.
- Listed park visits, applicable entry and vehicle permits, overnight charges where required, and one Ngorongoro Crater descent.
- Dinner Day 1; breakfast, lunch and dinner Day 2; breakfast and lunch Day 3. Total: two breakfasts, two lunches and two dinners. Drinking water in the vehicle and taxes on quoted services.
Budget for separately
- International or domestic flights, visas, travel insurance, voluntary tips, personal purchases, laundry and drinks other than those specified. Single-room supplements, optional activities, an additional Arusha hotel night, Day 3 dinner and the onward JRO transfer are extra. No cultural visits or Serengeti travel are included.

If the group does not form, the team will discuss a different date, a revised group price or a private trip before you commit.
