When to go & how it flows

Day 1 is arrival and rest; Day 2 visits one park. Arusha National Park offers the shortest transfers. Tarangire and Manyara involve longer road journeys. Choose an extra night if you want a relaxed onward departure. Ends at your chosen Arusha hotel; a room that night, dinner and onward airport transfer are not included. Ask for a reviewed flight connection or an extra Arusha night.

  1. Day 1

    Arrival in Tanzania

    Meet your Boker Adventures representative at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) and transfer to your Arusha hotel. Rest after the flight; no game drive is scheduled. Your briefing covers timings, meals, wildlife etiquette, medical or mobility needs and booked extras. Late arrivals receive the briefing the next morning. Allow about 1-1.5 hours for the transfer, depending on the hotel and traffic. Arrange late dinner in advance. Overnight: Arusha. Meal included: dinner.

  2. Day 2

    Arusha National Park

    After breakfast, travel to Arusha National Park for a guided game drive. Explore accessible forest and open habitats, with views towards Momella Lakes and Ngurdoto viewpoints where the route permits. Look for giraffes, buffalo, monkeys and birds, with a picnic lunch. Return to your chosen Arusha hotel later in the afternoon. This is a scenery and wildlife safari, not a Big Five itinerary; sightings and clear mountain views cannot be guaranteed. Allow approximately 45-90 minutes each way between an Arusha hotel and the park gate, depending on hotel location and traffic. The base package includes vehicle-based viewing only; a ranger-guided walk requires advance arrangement and replaces some driving time. Meals: breakfast and picnic lunch. No second hotel night, Day 2 dinner or onward airport transfer is included.
