Day 1
Kilimanjaro Shira Plateau Day Visit
About 06:00 pickup; drive towards the western gate and complete park formalities. Continue only to the vehicle access point authorised that day. Walk a guide-selected plateau route, with packed lunch and a conservative turnaround. Return by the same road, aiming for Moshi around 17:00-19:00. This can involve rapid ascent to roughly 3,000-3,500 m; the exact access point is confirmed before booking. It is not a summit trek or guaranteed acclimatisation. Weather may hide the peaks.
