  1. Day 1

    Tengeru Market and Tanzanian Cooking Experience

    09:00 pickup; meet your local guide and explore available food stalls, subject to market trading that day. Join a pre-arranged cooking session using ingredients and dishes chosen by the hosts. Eat the meal you helped prepare and return to Arusha around 14:00-15:00. This is a hosted food experience, not a guaranteed large market day. Advise dietary needs beforehand; ingredients and the menu vary.

  • return central-hotel transport in the stated town; driver and/or activity guide as appropriate; the base activities and applicable entry/host fees; one simple lunch and drinking water. Park game drives use a safari 4x4; other trips use a suitable road vehicle unless 4x4 access is required.
